Privacy Policy

Effective 4 November 2026. Applies to the Sigma Speaks podcast, the Sigma Speaks apps for iPhone and Android, and this website, all operated by AnswerSolutions LLC.

1. The short version

Sigma Speaks has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising. The apps keep what they need to know on your phone. The only thing that leaves your phone is a request for the day's feed and its audio files, which is the same for everyone.

2. What the apps store on your device

• Which stories you have heard, so they do not play again.
• The companies you follow, which order the list on your phone. This preference is never sent anywhere.
• Your bookmarks, the stories you chose to keep.
• Playback settings: the voice and the speed.
• A copy of the day's feed and audio, so the briefing plays without a connection.

All of this stays in the app's own storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. Where your phone backs up app data to iCloud or Google, that backup is governed by Apple's or Google's own terms.

3. What the apps send

The apps fetch the published feed files and audio from our server at answersolutions.net. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs: the address the request came from, the file requested, the time, and the app or device type. These logs are used to keep the service running and to see how many people listen in aggregate. They are not linked to any account, because there are none, and they are deleted on rotation within ninety days.

The apps do not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting or advertising software, and do not ask for your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.

4. The podcast

The podcast is delivered through the public RSS feed above. When you listen in Apple Podcasts, Spotify or another podcast app, that app and its platform collect listening data under their own privacy policies. We see only the aggregate download counts those platforms report, and our server's access logs for the audio files.

5. This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads nothing from advertising networks. Playing an episode on this page fetches the audio from our server, which logs the request as described above.

6. Support email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as is needed to answer and to follow up on the problem you reported. We do not add you to any list.

7. Children

Sigma Speaks is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Your rights

Because we hold no account data about you, there is nothing to export or correct. Everything the apps know is on your device and under your control. If you believe we hold something about you, for example a support conversation, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. A change that affects what the apps collect will also be noted in the app's release notes.
